Position Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Lead Account Manager / Head of Client Services to oversee enterprise client relationships and lead cross-functional delivery teams.


This is a strategic leadership role focused on:

  • Client partnership and advisory
  • Integrated program oversight
  • Marketing and brand strategy execution
  • Operational excellence across complex initiatives


This position is not a sales role. While growth opportunities may be identified through strategic account management, the primary focus is client success, delivery leadership, and strategic execution.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Lead integrated marketing strategy across digital and brand channels
  • Align campaigns with client business goals and KPIs
  • Provide data-driven insights and performance recommendations
  • Oversee SEO, SEM/PPC, social media, email marketing, analytics, and web initiatives
  • Guide brand positioning and multi-channel campaign planning


Client Services & Account Leadership

  • Serve as the senior marketing advisor and primary client liaison
  • Lead weekly performance reviews and strategic planning sessions
  • Ensure proactive communication and alignment on deliverables
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of marketing engagements from onboarding through execution
  • Maintain high client satisfaction through strategic partnership


Project & Delivery Oversight

  • Manage timelines, scopes, budgets, and workflows
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (creative, digital, production, events)
  • Ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategy
  • Implement best practices to streamline execution and reporting


Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor the account management team
  • Establish client service standards and operational processes
  • Foster collaboration between marketing, creative, and production teams
  • Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement


Strategic Growth (Marketing-Led, Not Sales-Led)

  • Identify opportunities to expand marketing impact within existing accounts
  • Recommend additional marketing initiatives based on performance insights
  • Partner with executive leadership on long-term client strategy


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of agency account management experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing marketing teams
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing (SEO, PPC, paid media, social, email, analytics)
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex marketing accounts
  • Strong strategic thinking and performance analysis capabilities
  • Excellent communication and client presentation skills
  • Experience using marketing dashboards and project management tools


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in event marketing or experiential campaigns
  • Background in integrated marketing and brand strategy
  • Experience contributing to strategic account expansion through marketing performance insights


Position Details
