VP of Customer Success | High-Growth HealthTech (NYC / Boston)
Sanderson King’s Technology Practice is proud to be supporting a high-growth HealthTech firm, via recommendation, on a critical leadership appointment.
We are seeking a VP of Customer Success to lead and scale the entire post-sales function for a rapidly expanding, AI-driven healthcare platform business headquartered in New York City.
The Opportunity
This is a true builder role - taking ownership of Customer Success and Account Management, unifying them into a single high-performing post-sales engine. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Net Revenue Retention (NRR) end-to-end, including renewals, expansion, and forecasting
- Build and scale a unified CS & AM function
- Design and launch a scalable SMB customer motion alongside an established enterprise model
- Lead the full customer lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, retention, and growth
- Implement tooling, processes, and AI-driven efficiencies across the function
- Act as the voice of the customer at leadership level
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years’ experience in Customer Success / post-sales leadership within high-growth SaaS
- Proven ownership of revenue metrics (NRR, expansion, retention)
- Experience across both SMB and enterprise customer segments
- Background in scaling businesses in the $20M–$100M ARR range
- Exposure to multi-product platforms (e.g. Toast, Klaviyo or similar)
- Highly commercial, analytical, and decisive leadership style
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Package
- Base: $220k–$270k
- OTE: $325k–$350k
- Competitive equity
- Hybrid (NYC or Boston) / (if NYC based, we require a monthly trip to Boston as part of your commitment)
