Job Title: Customer Experience & Inside Sales Specialist

Location: Eden Prairie, MN (In-Office)

Schedule: Full-Time During Peak Season / Part-Time During Off-Season

Compensation: $16 - $20 per hour


About the Role

MISSION Outdoor is hiring a Customer Experience Representative to help deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping customers, and representing a premium brand. You will work directly with customers to answer questions, place orders, resolve issues, and ensure they have a great experience with our products.


This is an in-office position in our Eden Prairie headquarters where you will work alongside a collaborative, high-performing team.


During the busy season this role is full-time, and transitions to part-time hours during the off-season.


What You'll Do

Customer Support

  • Respond to customer questions via email, phone, and support platform
  • Provide product guidance and help customers choose the right products
  • Resolve order issues, warranty claims, and returns
  • Ensure every customer interaction reflects the standards of a premium brand by turning potentially negative experiences into a positive brand interaction
  • Maintain fast response times and follow up on customer inquiries to ensure support tickets are resolved
  • Document customer support issues and resolutions
  • Help identify recurring customer issues, and properly communicate feedback to operations, warehouse, or product development teams

Inside Sales & Showroom Support

  • Assist walk-in customers in the MISSION showroom
  • Provide product education and recommendations
  • Support light inside sales, including order placement and product questions

Order & Shipping Support

  • Assist customers with tracking, shipping questions, and order updates
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to resolve fulfillment issues

Systems You Will Use

  • Gorgias – Customer support platform
  • Acumatica – ERP / order management
  • ShipStation – Shipping and order fulfillment
  • Shopify – E-Commerce platform


What We're Looking For

Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Organized and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset

Preferred

  • Experience in customer service or inside sales
  • Experience with e-commerce or consumer products
  • Familiarity with Gorgias, Acumatica, ShipStation, Shopify or similar systems
  • Interest in boating or outdoor recreation
